WHAT IS GOT 5?

In rural communities, wildfire evacuations can be especially challenging for some of our neighbors. The Got 5 program connects community members who may need assistance during evacuations with nearby volunteers who can help.


WHO MIGHT NEED HELP?

• Elderly or infirm residents
• People with mobility challenges
• Young people who might be home alone
• Households with pets, horses, or livestock
• Anyone who feels they might need extra support during an evacuation

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Volunteers and those needing assistance sign up using the forms below
2. We connect neighbors based on location and specific needs
3. Connected neighbors communicate privately to make specific arrangements
4. During an evacuation, volunteers check on their matched neighbors
