Got 5 NEIGHBOR-TO-NEIGHBOR EVACUATION SUPPORT

In rural communities, wildfire evacuations can be especially challenging for some of our neighbors. Got 5 connects community members who may need assistance during evacuations with nearby volunteers who can help.

What is Got 5?

A simple way to look out for each other

Got 5 pairs residents who might need a hand during an evacuation with volunteers nearby who are ready to help — whether that’s a phone call to check in, help loading up pets and livestock, or just knowing someone’s watching out for your property.

Who might need help?

  • Elderly or infirm residents
  • People with mobility challenges
  • Young people who might be home alone
  • Households with pets, horses, or livestock
  • Anyone who feels they might need extra support during an evacuation

Privacy Notice

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information submitted through these forms will only be shared with a matched neighbor in your immediate area — and only when you are a recipient being introduced to a volunteer. Volunteer contact information is shared with recipients; recipient information is never shared with volunteers. No information will be published online or shared with any third party.

Important Note

Got 5 is a community connection tool, not an emergency service. In any urgent situation, call 911, follow official evacuation orders, and check Park County’s emergency resources and CodeRED for real-time guidance. Volunteers are neighbors who have self-selected to offer assistance — they are not dispatched, trained, or vetted by Fire Adapted Park County, and their availability during an emergency cannot be guaranteed.

By registering, you agree to the Got 5 Terms of Service and Participant Agreement.
